Mad-Jarova's Suprarealism
It seems that in the current era art has lost its essential virtue, that of drawing inspiration from beauty, which prevents it from being experienced spiritually.
The essential being imperceptible, is revealed by the emotion and the force which emerge from the work, which is the true abstraction beyond the visible. Reflection and emotion through inner beauty, not being material, is abstract.
Reality will be the means of crystallizing values into living forms.
This approach is part of the evolution of a new spirituality and of modern trends in science.
It is the witness of an intuition on the globality of phenomena and marks the crowning of suprarealism.
Beauty is the life that comes from within
This life expresses itself in the unobservable space. Under these conditions, a distortion, an exaggeration, a mannerism would not be possible.
The women in my paintings are not pretty. They are a little skinny, you can see the ribs and the collarbones. Their bodies are not smooth and powdery. But, they are beautiful. Their beauty comes from within, it is an expressive impulse and not a soft and lascivious nonchalance.
That's how I feel when I make them.
In a perceptible form, the complementary duality of the invisible and the real is highlighted: the phenomenal becomes apparent and sensitive.
Great art, authentic art has been and always will be universal. It is impactful everywhere in our world, without belonging to any particular religion.
Yet it is an essential part of human spirituality.
